A monumental imperial blue and white vase from the Yongle period (1403–1424), decorated with scrolling peony vines in deep cobalt tones. The vessel employs imported 'sumaliqing' cobalt, creating characteristic dark blue underglaze with natural 'iron spot' speckling — the unmistakable signature of Yongle imperial wares. An exceptional example of early 15th-century Chinese ceramic mastery.
