A magnificent white jade bi disc carved in the Qianlong period (1736-1795), crafted from Hetian jade of the finest quality. The disc features archaistic kui dragon motifs in deep relief on both sides, exemplifying the Qianlong Emperor's deep reverence for ancient ritual forms. The base bears the incised six-character mark 'Da Qing Qianlong Fang Gu' (Qianlong period, archaistic style).
